How many cleaners does it take to clean a mixer truck… THE TRUTH

For years companies have told Ready Mix companies they need multiple products to clean their mixer trucks.   Everything from a harsh acid to clean the concrete, yet the harsh acid will dry out the electrical, oxidize the paint on the drum, and cause corrosion which you won’t see for months or years.  Chemical companies offer a mild acid, to go along with the harsh acid as they say it won’t cause as much damage.  Now, neither one of these products actually clean the truck so they offer you a truck wash to wash the truck..  Now wait a minute, a Ready mix company must buy three different products (acids) to clean their trucks and huge investments, does that make sense?  But there are many companies that say that and companies believe them. It amazes me here in southern California to go by Ready mix plants and see three products on site, a phosphoric acid, a glycolic acid, and the truck wash.  That doesn’t make any sense because both acid based products have the same restrictions.  Now, I know the price range for the phosphoric acid is from $6.00-8.00/G and the price for the glycolic acid can range from $7.00-9.00/G.  NOW, the price for the truck wash is approx. between $12.00-$14.00/G if you can believe that.. So all added, one is looking at $25.00g on the low end….$25.00/G…Unreal!

First, anyone who tells you that you need to use an acid based product to clean your fleet is lying to you.  The acid might remove concrete, but they won’t tell you the corrosion it’s causing or the drying of the electrical wires, or the restrictions there are by using an acid based product.  Besides that, I know most companies are used to using an acid based product to clean their fleet, hence when you see a ready mix truck on the road, well, you see the shape they are in, it’s not due to the wear and tear, it caused by the product they use to clean the truck, but the chemical supplier will NEVER admit that..  All I have to say is call Mack or McNeilus and they will tell you the truth.

Let’s get bac to the companies in southern California that use multiple acids to clean their trucks, they know who they are so I won’t mention them.  They are paying approx.  $25.00/G to clean their trucks.  There is zero need for that.

Believe it or not, you only need one product to clean your entire truck, remove the concrete from your truck, and pay less that $9.00/G.  Contact me for more info,.
